Allan Schmelzel, PA-C, MPAS

Allan began his Physician Assistant career after completing his Physician Assistant training at Butler University in Indianapolis Indiana. Allan has worked in orthopedics as a Physician Assistant since 2013. He first started his career in Eugene Oregon working for an Orthopedic group. After moving to Colorado, he has worked in Orthopedics for the University of Colorado since moving here in 2014. Allan originally worked at Anschutz medical campus for the Orthopedic Trauma team. After 6 years at Anschutz working as an Orthopedic Trauma Physician Assistant Allan transferred to work with Dr. Seidl mostly at the south Denver locations. Allan is Board Certified as a Physician Assistant with the NCCPA.

During Allan's career in orthopedics, he has helped in the operating room with many different subspecialities as well as seeing patients in clinic, performing injections using ultrasound and doing Emergency Room consults. Allan has been helping Dr. Seidl and team since 2019 and helps with many different areas of his practice.

Allan personally was born in Michigan but grew up in rural Indiana. Allan went to Ball State University for his undergraduate degree and Bulter University for his Physician Assistant training. After moving to Colorado Allan when not seeing patients in Orthopedics, enjoys being outdoors with his family, dogs and friends. He likes to Ski, Mountain bike, and hike in the Colorado mountains.
