I went to Dr. Seidl for a second opinion on my shoulder problems- partial rotator cuff tear and biceps tendinosis. Another orthopedist was ready to do surgery even though the problem caused some pain and discomfort but did not interrrupt activities. Dr. Seidl examined me, reviewed the MRI and said we should try a cortisone injection first. Surgery only as a last resort. The injection has worked well for 3 months now. Dr Seidl is a top notch doctor that looks for solutions for problems. Surgery isn’t the first thing he suggests in fact quite the opposite. He recommended we take a slower approach to my shoulder problem and start with PT, then perhaps a steroid injection and see if we can’t get me feeling better with out surgery. That doesn’t mean I won’t have surgery but suggested other potential solutions first. On a side note I had three general physicians recommend Dr Seidl as well.

The whole process from the initial evaluation of my rotator cuff tear to surgery day to my 2 week post-op visit have all been excellent. Dr Seidl answered my questions thoroughly and explained my injury and options so I could understand them. His whole team is very good. My only hiccup was it took a couple tries to get my final estimate for the surgery center, but ultimately this was resolved. Overall I definitely recommend Dr Seidl and his team.

I really can’t say enough or recognize each and every person individually because there were so many and they were so kind. I had to have emergency surgery on a Saturday and an amazing neurosurgeon came in, explained the risks, completed the surgery and so far, so good. Thank you all.

My sister was flown to UCHealth Highlands Ranch in critical care as a result of a severe liver infection. Through the eight days she was in the ICU, the level of support and care was outstanding. The staff, from doctors to nurses to care managers to the cafeteria workers, were some of the most kind and truly empathetic people you could hope to meet. The woman who worked in the pharmacy actually cried when my brother-in-law told her about my sister. My sister didn’t make it, but the hospital gave her all the excellent care they could; and when she decided to stop fighting, they carried through with keeping her absolutely comfortable until she passed. They even brought a cart in with coffee, tea, snacks, and beautiful cloth roses for us as we held vigil. I will never forget how caring they were and am truly thankful.

Dr. Seidl was most concerned about my shoulder issues and recommended different courses of action to address these issues. He recommended PT to begin with, which I contacted and was given some exercises to use to strengthen my shoulder muscles and arm movements. Fortunately, I am not having any pain or discomfort in my right arm rotator cuff at present, as long as I don't try to over-extend or strain my right arm. The exercises my PT therapist gave me have greatly helped, and I can continue following them if I should get any pain henceforth. But if my shoulder pain returns over time and becomes more persistent, I will contact Dr. Seidl again; otherwise, I'm doing fine at present and don't need any follow-up at this time.

5 stars all around. If you get sick which I don’t recommend, I recommend going to uchealth. For over a year nobody could figure out what was wrong with me so I got recommended to uchealth. I spent a week in the hospital while they figured out what was wrong with me and put together a thorough thought out treatment for me. While I was in the hospital nurse Courtney gave me more than exceptional care. She was one of the most caring nurses I’ve come across during all of this time dealing with my medical issues. Also, cna beloved(I think that’s her name) was extremely caring during this hard time for me. I cannot thank this hospital enough. I came back to get surgery here last week with dr Doug benson and the same nurses and cnas took care of me. Not only did they help me they truly were caring and advocated for me and made me feel validated. I cannot thank this hospital enough for being able to solve my medical issues and while doing so they were caring. Thankyou uc health your team of nurses and doctors are truly amazing.

I can’t say enough how great my experience was here. I had to have a minor surgery at the Ear,Nose and Throat office. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The staff were extremely nice, smiling and welcoming. Waited in the lobby for less than 5 minutes. Thank you all so much!

Took my family there last night because my son had a pretty high fever, and my wife was not doing well at all. While they were checking my two-year-old out my wife fainted in front of them. I was experiencing pain on Thanksgiving late afternoon while visiting friends; it was escalating to the point of being extreme and intolerable. Fortunately we had a nurse in the group who strongly advised "nearest ER," and 2 family members got me to UC Health Highlands Ranch Hospital. The staffing seemed light and it took some effort to get me inside, but given that they weren't busy and I was seen immediately this seemed understandable. Admitting, a nurse, a paramedic in training and the supervising doc started all the procedures. As a medically complex patient, I feel that every one listened and understood my concerns (unfortunately I have significant experience with ER's.) The necessary procedures and treatments were efficient and effective, and doctor who reviewed everything and released me also had a good understanding of my situation. I was home (30 miles away) within 4 hours. I would feel comfortable if I needed to be seen there again.

Dr Seidl did a wonderful job of rebuilding my shoulder following diagnosis of severe Arthritus. The recovery process has been almost painless and I have 90% of my original range of motion. I avoided surgury for 15 years due to bad stories, but I am glad to have this procedure now.

I was diagnosed about a year ago with cancer at a young age. I began my medical journey at the cancer center here and can’t say enough amazing words about this place. The cleanliness, timeliness, friendliness, ease of scheduling…all staff make you feel welcome and cared for. They remember who you are and treat you with the utmost love and respect. Always a smile on there face weather working the front desk, my port draws in the lab facility, or my nurse during chemo infusions. I am not forgotten, they keep me on track with my treatment. I’m from Oklahoma and came here to visit my husband while he is working in Highlands Ranch. I had a N Stemi heart attack and we were very fortunate that this hospital was basically right across the street from the hotel we are staying at. While no one likes to end up in the hospital, sometimes it is necessary and has to be done. I had a great experience tonight on 3/30 in the emergency department. Everyone from the security guards, to the admissions staff, to the nurses, radiology techs, and doctors I was treated with such great kindness by everyone and I felt like I was truly listened to. My nurse was making me laugh and trying to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. The facility is also very clean! Embarrassed, I went to the ER for the worst hang over of my life. After being triaged in I got my blood drawn by Joel. Over the next hour and a half I watched Joel absolutely run the entire hospital. At one point he was helping a patient in the restroom, AND running back to his station to clean up and prepare an EKG. At one point I looked down the hallway and saw an angel floating towards me, with saline bags and warm blankets. Oh wait, that wasn't an angel, it was the king 👑 Joel 👑. The hospital was obviously busy and I didn't want to take up a bed. Joel got all the other patients, and me, started on some fluids. This man is transporting patients, making sure everyone is comfortable, drawing blood, doing EKGs, and more. I am writing this review, and putting my name out there for all to see I'm a big baby that went to the ER for a hangover for one reason: UCHealth please give king Joel a raise.

We just had a baby at this hospital two hours ago and have been incredibly impressed by the nurses here. Each one was attentive and personable, they listened to our wants and needs every step of the way, never pushed us into taking a medication or doing something we didn't want to do, and were incredibly patient even though it took almost two days from inducing to birth. In addition to the great staff, the rooms are large with nice tubs where the mom to be can relax. They even brought in floating candles and a scented diffuser. Really can't imagine a better place to have a baby.

All the staff in the ER at this hospital are extremely professional, kind, courteous, and highly effective. I came in several times for sleep apnea related disturbances at night and they were more than accommodating - answering all my questions and even offering to do additional evaluations on me to assuage my fears, even if a lot of my symptoms ended up being more related to anxiety than actual medical emergencies. All the lab results that were ordered for me were also instantly available on their portal and made it super easy to see them during and after my visit. In my opinion, this is how all healthcare practitioners should strive to treat their patients. I'll definitely be recommending this hospital to any and all of my friends and family in the future.

Doctor Ben Usatch and team were great. I have horrible health anxiety and this was an extremely pleasant experience. I was taken into a room within 5 minutes of sitting down in the waiting room and Dr Ustach was 30 seconds behind me getting into my room. I have never been seen so quickly. I mentioned that I had anxiety and my symptoms could be psychosomatic but Dr Usatch assured me that coming in was the right call and that he was glad to see me due to the symptoms I was having. The entire team made me feel comfortable and assured that I was in the right hands. Dr Usatch even made it clear that I should come back for any reason I see fit. It took less than two hours to be seen, have an ultrasound done and my results returned. I went out of my way to come to this location and will do so again in the future.

Was seen in the ER on March 9th late at night. From the time it took for me to walk into the ER, get evaluated, get a CT scan and get a plan of transition into admission was just over one hour. That is the most efficient ER I have ever witnessed. Dr. Pfeifer (?) and nurse Felice (?) were just SO wonderful I could not ask for better care and compassion than I received from them except from a previous visit to this ER in 2020 with Dr. Good. I am so grateful for the experience that I had in the ER. Now, on the hospital stay. Again, there is nothing bad I could ever say about that experience. The hospital is full at this time but I would have never known without being told. Dr. O'Brien was fantastic and really listened to my needs and pain and acted accordingly. The nurses though were the real heros. I hadany nurses who were all 5 stars but 2 nurses I had the pleasure of meeting I do believe their names started with a T were 5+++ stars. Shoulder repaired! I had two full tendon tears, and a bicep tear, not to mention that I have osteoporosis and 69 years old. Having to deal with anchors' in porous bones can't be easy. But the whole process was made with professionalism The office got me in on a Monday, mri on Thursday, surgery scheduled on Friday. My wife and I have been very pleased with the care we have received at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital since June 2019, which includes 3 surgeries, 4 hospitalizations, and ongoing oncology care. In all those visits, we have only encountered one incompetent employee with a bad attitude, out of the dozens who have been involved in our treatment. We very much appreciate the team approach to our treatment and the seamless handoff from primary care to specialists when needed. Most recently, my wife & I became eligible for the coronavirus vaccine on February 8. UCHealth contacted us to make an appointment on February 9, and our appointments both are for February 14 for our first vaccination. We couldn't ask for better care.

If you have cancer and you're going anywhere other than UCHealth, you're going to the wrong place. Exhaustive health records are available through the website and phone app. Somehow or another some prescriptions that I received from doctors in private practice appear automatically on my current list of drugs at UCHealth. Post-visit notes and visit summary are posted to the portal very shortly after most visits, or overnight.

I have had both knees and shoulders replaced – so I have a lot of experience with orthopedic surgeons. This latest occasion I needed a shoulder revision, which is a replacement of a replacement. Not all orthopedic replacement specialists will even consider doing a revision. I interviewed 5 surgeons who specialize in shoulder revisions – literally the best of the best in Colorado. I chose Dr. Seidl because I had a somewhat special situation and he demonstrated great confidence that he could avoid the complications (such as two surgeries to do the job and/or lengthy rehabilitation) that the other orthopedists expressed concerns about. All went extremely well. Zero complications. And I have full and complete arm motion as a result – something the other doctors warned would likely not be achievable. Thank you very much Dr. Seidl!

Over the past 25 years, I’ve had 2 shoulder replacement surgeries and a rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder, prior to being referred to Dr Seidl, who performed a total-reverse shoulder replacement last year on the same shoulder. I endured pain in that joint area and limited range of motion for many years; and now, I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results of Dr Seidl’s skill and care. I no longer have pain, and my range of motion is greatly improved. Dr Seidl is very calm, clear and direct, and his follow up care, post surgery, is excellent. A few months ago I suffered a rare and dangerous posterior dislocation of my clavicle. I was completely unable to move my right (dominant) arm, and the dislocated clavicle was threatening to puncture the large blood vessels that come in and out of my heart. From what I understand, very few surgeons are experienced, or even capable of performing a reconstruction of the sternoclavicular joint. Dr. Seidel (along with Dr. Melissa Gorman) did the surgery, and I couldn't be happier with the results. At just 12 weeks out my shoulder basically feels like nothing ever happened -- I have 99% of my original range of motion. At 1 week I had minimal pain, at about 3-4 weeks the pain was gone. Can't thank them enough.

Had "massive rotator cuff repair" surgery on 6/12/18. I know it sounds impossible, but I experienced little to no pain from the procedure. I was off all pain meds w/in 24 hours except anti-inflammatories. Also, 90% of inflammation was gone w/in 48 hours. Dr Seidl's surgery technique is far above the norm, possibly the pinnacle. I can't say enough good things about Dr Seidl from the pre-op discussions where he was completely honest about how long my recuperation would take, educating me in a way I could understand about all my options, to my final post-op appt where he was obviously happy for me about my outcome. His easy going style & subtle humor belies his intelligence & extreme dedication to the advancement of his field. Everyone I dealt with was exceptional, from the welcome staff, to the check in staff, to the nursing staff, the anesthesiologist and of course Dr. Seidl. This surgery was very painful, but I knew that going in. I’m 6 weeks post op and looking forward to getting my range of motion snd strength back. I also need to comment on how well Dr. Seidel’s support staff work together. They are truly a team. Everyone was wonderful. If you have to have shoulder surgery, Dr. Seidl must be your choice.

Great staff all around. I recently had outpatient surgery here and honestly would recommend it to anyone. This hospital has some of the best staff all around. I knew my doctor was amazing but the pre-op nurse, recovery nurse, and even the check in staff were helpful and compassionate. Also the hospital itself was in great condition. I just wanted to give some recognition to @uchealth in Highlands Ranch. I am a birth doula and I haven’t been back to UCHealth HR since before covid and I attended a birth there yesterday. The level of care my client’s received was above and beyond! My client’s had a wonderful birth plan they created using @motherboardbirth and the nurse (Karen) and OB (Dr Holmes) were not only respectful and supportive about it but they also were so good to be informative of anything that came up that wasn’t a part of their plan. My first experience with this hospital’s care was top tier! I utilized their virtual care before being admitted to the ER. My virtual nurse and doctor were quick to see me at my scheduled time and to diagnose my symptoms. They even offered to inform their ER I would be arriving and why. This made my transition so much easier as I was experiencing the worst pain of my life. Once admitted to the ER, which took no more than 10 minutes, I was quickly attended to as well. Being admitted to an ER is never ideal, but the staff who cared for me were kind, patient and attentive with humor to boot! Honestly, this was the best care I’ve received from a hospital to date. Highly recommend this location for any sort of care needed.

Drive-up COVID testing was a great experience, I just went on Thursday and got my results back this evening. They said a 72-hour turnaround and results came back in 62! You just drive into the parking garage, get a quick swab and you’re on your way. I was in and out in like 20 minutes and staff was super friendly. You fill everything out on the app beforehand so they basically just confirm who you are and send you through. Thanks for taking the stress out of this, UCHealth!

My sister is in ICU with interstitial lung disease, the level of care that she’s getting is absolutely exceptional. Every day we go in to see our sister and if there isn’t one medical personnel there are at times as many as six. Each is genuinely caring about my sister, they are careful about little things like her modesty. They constantly talk to her, they say the sweetest things to her. I recognize talking to a patient (regardless of their ability to react) is their job, but this staff truly goes above and beyond. Thank you from the entire Keyes and Quintana families. I saw Der. Seidl today for what I thought might be a rotator cuff problem which actually turned out to be arthritis. I ended up with a cortisone shot which I hope will work. Dr. Seidl and his team are kind, caring and considerate. They listened to all my concerns, took the time to explain everything to me and let me know what my options were. Fortunately, I do not have to go back unless the cortisone does not work. The whole process from checking in to checking out, including treatment took 1.5 hrs. I am more than pleased with my visit. I have had arthritis in my shoulders for the last five years. It had gotten so bad I had to move into assisted living. Because I have had 10 knee surgeries, I had been very reluctant to have shoulder replacement. Finally, I was in so much pain, I had a reverse shoulder replacement with bone grafts by Dr. Seidl in Jan. What a miracle! I have no pain, I can shower and dress myself for the first time in a year and will be moving to independent living shortly. I plan to have the other shoulder replaced the end of the year. Dr. Seidl is a miracle worker and I would not have any other surgeon.

I can't begin to say how very pleased I am with the entire process from beginning to end. Not only is the pain gone, my mobility is better and I'm still as strong as I was before surgery. We had an amazing experience here. My wife had surgery and the hospital was State of the art! Even the waiting room was well thought out. There was two waiting rooms one quiet and one open which was great with my little one that needed to sleep. Their staff was extremely attentive and her post operation waiting room had all the bells and whistles to make our stay comfortable. So glad this is now an option for us in the South Denver area!

We got the unfortunate chance of trying out their facilities this week and I am very, very impressed!! The doctors, nurses, administrative staff, cafe staff.....everyone took excellent care of all of us including the patient. The rooms are outfitted with the latest technology from the patient monitoring system to the beds down to the tv's. They have found ways to make the experience more comfortable and restful for the patient. They also installed systems to make the job safer for the nursing staff. It is still not running at full capacity and I truly hope they continue this level of service after they are.

I don't know what to say other than thank you. I arrived at the emergency room and was diagnosed with anaphylaxis. Dr. Catanach and PAC Tyner and their team are angels. They were very attentive to what I needed and what to do. My reaction was controlled in about an hour and I was stabilized. I have never had a staff take such care with me before and they made sure I was comfortable and safe to be discharged. They show their love through their work and they're bedside manners are flawless. At times I would wake up and believe I was home because of how peaceful they were. Any time I needed something they were right there in seconds to help.

I was here for two days for a cat bite that got infected. Hospital stays are unpleasant anyway, but this experience was as positive an experience it could be under the circumstances. The doctors and support staff were top notch. The doctors were friendly, caring, and communicated well. However, the highest kuddos goes to the nurses. Nurses can make or break a hospital stay. The very best nurses are at this hospital. You’ll be in good hands.

I want to take a second to recognized all the non-healthcare staff. I have not met one staff member that is having 'a bad day.' IT is here within minutes of immediate requests. The maintenance and custodial staff are respectful and lively. The cafeteria staff are some of the kindest people I've met (and the food is AMAZING, better than most restaurants). The Starbucks baristas always have a smile and make your drink to perfection. And the greeters even great me as staff! I can honestly say that every staff member always takes a second to try and make your day better. This is a rare quality to find in a hospital, as an employee or patient.

After suffering a bilateral posterior dislocation of my shoulders in January, I was presented with the possibility of multiple surgeries which would not necessarily return normal full use of both arms. Fortunately, I met Dr. Seidl, who performed an arthroscopic procedure on both shoulders. After spending the remainder of the year in physical therapy, I have been able to return to normal sport and exercise. I had a total shoulder replacement done by Dr. Seidl in September of 2017, and at six months post-op the results are everything that I could have hoped for; 95% restored range of motion and virtual elimination of arthritic pain The whole process was about as good as it could be. The UC/Anschutz medical center is first rate and our experience with the staff there was outstanding. Even the food is good! Beyond obvious technical competence, Dr. Seidl is easy and pleasant to deal with and I have never had to wait more than a few minutes past the appointment time during either pre- or post-op visits. I highly recommend Dr. Seidl for treatment within his area of specialization.

My biceps tendon was torn and my rotator cuff was nearly fully separated, so it was a pretty significant surgery. The reason my shoulders fell apart is just a guess. It could’ve been 30 years of swimming with a flawed stroke, or some genetic flaw. As more cartilage disappeared and bone spurs grew to take its place, something had to be done. Using stem cells wasn’t far enough along to address such a complex problem, and “cleaning up” the joints by grinding down the spurs didn’t guarantee they wouldn’t return. The alternative was joint replacement. New composite parts inserted; the original, troubled ball and socket removed. Game on! Recovery was predictable: 3 months after surgery, limited range of motion. At 6 months, use of light weights. A year later, the shoulder functioned as “normal.” I credit a dedicated physical therapist, reasonable expectations, and a very skilled surgeon. Dr. Seidl assessed the challenge, presented his plan and performed the operation. I am now pain free and able to do everyday functions, sleep on my side and live as if there was never an issue, or the next best thing.

Had "massive rotator cuff repair" surgery on 6/12/18. I know it sounds impossible, but I experienced little to no pain from the procedure. I was off all pain meds w/in 24 hours except anti-inflammatories. Also, 90% of inflammation was gone w/in 48 hours. Dr Seidl's surgery technique is far above the norm, possibly the pinnacle. He is the only surgeon I would ever consider for future shoulder surgery no matter what I would have to do to make that happen.

A few months ago I suffered a rare and dangerous posterior dislocation of my clavicle. I was completely unable to move my right (dominant) arm, and the dislocated clavicle was threatening to puncture the large blood vessels that come in and out of my heart. From what I understand, very few surgeons are experienced, or even capable of performing a reconstruction of the sternoclavicular joint. Dr. Seidel (along with Dr. Melissa Gorman) did the surgery, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Dr. Seidl did a total shoulder replacement for me in November 2017. I interviewed other surgeons before choosing Dr. Seidl. I chose him because I trusted him, his manner gave me confidence. He answered every question and eased my concerns. He exceeded my expectations. I am an active duty military member and struggled with significant shoulder pain for about 8 years of my career. An MRI revealed a labral tear in my shoulder. I was sent to Dr. Seidl for his expert opinion on a good course of action. He gave me some options and due to the impact on my career we elected to do surgery. He repaired the labrum and for this specific tear he had to do a bicep tenodesis to aid in the recovery. Bottom line, it was a great success. Dr. Seidl and his staff were absolutely amazing. They were very kind and extremely clear in any and all decisions throughout the entire process, especially the day of surgery. In less than 3 months I have almost made a complete recovery and I now have no pain during upper body workouts like I had prior to the surgery. I will say that I am confident that Dr. Seidl will not need reviews like mine to encourage patients to see him. Over time, his reputation will stand on its own. However, sometimes it is nice to hear firsthand from the patient, and this is a thankful patient. Thanks Dr. Seidl for what you do and how you do it.

Dr. Seidl is an excellent shoulder surgeon. I had a huge rotator cuff tear in my left shoulder where I couldn't lift my left arm from a hanging position. After physical therapy I now have full use of my left shoulder. He has successfully repaired the damage to the point that I am now back weight training, rock climbing, mountain biking and swimming. I can even do back stroke again! I highly recommend Dr. Seidl.

I had been to two other physicians for my shoulder pain. Dr. Seidl diagnosed me with a biceps tendon issue and also noticed a bone spur that had been missed on my MRI. Dr, Seidl performed a reverse total shoulder replacement on my left shoulder after my rotator cuff failed on my original replacement. I never had good function after that procedure. After he did the reverse procedure there was an amazing change in my range of motion. I am now playing golf, something I had not done with the original. surgery. Dr. Seidel performed a reverse shoulder replacement surgery on me. I had been in extreme pain for several years prior to seeing Dr. Seidel. The surgery was such a success, that within 90 days of my surgery, I was had my full range of motion back. I am 6 months post surgery now and have complete range of motion and zero pain. I met Dr. Seidl back in October of 2016. He was recommended as I needed rotator cuff surgery. Very compassionate and caring doctor. I found out that I had also damaged my bicep. Before seeing Dr. Seidl for a broken elbow, I previously had a terrible experience with a different team of doctors (through Kaiser Permanente) when I was dealing with a broken wrist. I was off all pain meds w/in 24 hours except anti-inflammatories. Also, 90% of inflammation was gone w/in 48 hours. Dr Seidl's surgery technique is far above the norm, possibly the pinnacle. He is the only surgeon I would ever consider for future shoulder surgery no matter what I would have to do to make that happen.

A few months ago I suffered a rare and dangerous posterior dislocation of my clavicle. I was completely unable to move my right (dominant) arm, and the dislocated clavicle was threatening to puncture the large blood vessels that come in and out of my heart. From what I understand, very few surgeons are experienced, or even capable of performing a reconstruction of the sternoclavicular joint. Dr. Seidel (along with Dr. Melissa Gorman) did the surgery, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Dr. Seidl did a total shoulder replacement for me in November 2017. I interviewed other surgeons before choosing Dr. Seidl. I chose him because I trusted him, his manner gave me confidence. He answered every question and eased my concerns. He exceeded my expectations. I woke up from surgery pain free (I had been in pain for years) and at three months was released to return to all activities. I was golfing in Hawaii 3.5 months after my surgery. He is an excellent caring surgeon.

I'll first disclose that I work for the UCHealth marketing team. But I'm writing this review based on my experience with Dr. Seidl as a patient, because he performed shoulder surgery on me recently. My biceps tendon was torn and my rotator cuff was nearly fully separated, so it was a pretty significant surgery. The job Dr. Seidl did on my shoulder, as well as the experience I had with the entire team at UCH during the surgery, was second-to-none. I couldn't recommend him enough.

Being in the local Healthcare field, and knowing who is "good", I chose Dr Seidl, the best shoulder surgeon in my opinion, I am VERY pleased with the results for my rotator cuff surgery and would not hesitate to refer anyone to Dr Seidl. I had a complete tear of my rotator cuff and also my bicep tendon. I had been in pain for about 2 yrs. Dr. Seidl did an arthroscopic repair with bicep tenodesis. I am without pain and have almost my full range of motion back. I am an OR nurse and was quite impressed with Dr. Seidl’s surgical skills as well as his professionalism. He took the time to answer ALL my questions at every opportunity. I highly recommend him for anyone needing shoulder surgery!!

I had a total shoulder replacement done by Dr. Seidl in September of 2017, and at six months post-op the results are everything that I could have hoped for; 95% restored range of motion, and virtual elimination of arthritic pain The whole process was about as good as it could be. The UC/Anschutz medical center is first rate and our experience with the staff there was outstanding. Even the food is good! Beyond obvious technical competence, Dr. Seidl is easy and pleasant to deal with and I have.

This is my first surgery. I tore up my shoulder in training to be a fire fighter. I was referred to Dr. Seidl by my pcp. The level of care, compassion, education, professionalism I received was amazing. I had a hundred questions, he answered them all. He did an outstanding job putting it back together! I had been to two other physicians for my shoulder pain. Dr. Seidl diagnosed me with a biceps tendon issue and also noticed a bone spur that had been missed on my MRI. I had been in near constant pain so he recommended surgery. I was able to schedule that surgery within in a week and had a wonderful experience with the surgery center and Dr. Seidl. I have been pain free since healing from surgery and have returned to normal activities. I could not be more pleased with Dr. Seidl!

I simply can't say enough good things about Dr. Seidl. After a severe bilateral posterior dislocation of my shoulders, I had the potential of requiring multiple surgeries which would have resulted in some permanent loss of function. Fortunately, Dr. Seidl was able to perform an arthroscopic procedure on both shoulders that have stabilized the joints, and has allowed me to regain full use of both arms. I can't thank him and his staff enough :)

Dr, Seidl performed a reverse total shoulder replacement on my left shoulder after my rotator cuff failed on my original replacement. I never had good function after that procedure. After he did the reverse procedure there was an amazing change in my range of motion. I am now playing golf, something I had not done with the original. surgery. I have much more strength, less pain and better movement. Because of his excellent preparation I had no fears about the surgery or the rehab.

Dr. Seidl and his staff were amazing. Dr. Seidl completed a bicep tenodesis to help repair a labral tear in my shoulder. In less than 3 months I have made almost a full recovery. I am an active duty military member and I had significant shoulder pain while completing upper body workouts. Now that pain is gone and I am very thankful for Dr. Seidl choosing to use his God given talent to do what he does! I have already recommended him to others in the area! Thank you Dr. Seidl.

Dr. Seidel performed a reverse shoulder replacement surgery on me. I had been in extreme pain for several years prior to seeing Dr. Seidel. The surgery was such a success, that within 90 days of my surgery, I was had my full range of motion back. I am 6 months post surgery now and have complete range of motion and zero pain. My strength has not completely returned, but is slowly coming back. If anyone out there needs a shoulder surgery, Dr. Seidel is your man. Caring, informative highly skilled.

I had severe shoulder pain for several years. I consulted a physician who recommended against surgery because the results would be disappointing. Then last winter, I fell and tore my rotator cuff. I met Dr. Seidl back in October of 2016. He was recommended as I needed rotator cuff surgery. Very compassionate and caring doctor. I found out that I had also damaged my bicep. Dr. Seild saw me 2 weeks after the surgery, 3 months and then 6 months. He is a wonderful doctor and I would highly recommend Dr. Seidl for your next rotator cuff surgery. Appointments are very easy to make and he does make the time for you. You do not feel that he is hurrying you along with appointments.

Dr. Seidl performed my total shoulder replacement six months ago. My results have been better than I expected. Eight years ago I dislocated my shoulder, and had surgery to repair my labrum. The pain and lack of movement are gone. My healing time was much faster than I expected. I definitely recommend Dr. Seidl to anyone who has need for shoulder surgery.

This Dr. seems to have it all. He is clean cut, pleasant, and really knows his business. I also got the impression that he enjoys helping people and sure did a great job on my shoulder. Before seeing Dr. Seidl for a broken elbow, I previously had a terrible experience with a different team of doctors (through Kaiser Permanente) when I was dealing with a broken wrist. My experience with Dr. Seidl was night and day from my previous experience. I felt comfortable at all times asking him questions and voicing my concerns. He even took time to check on me during my physical therapy appointment. He truly cares about his patients and did an excellent job fixing my elbow.
